What we do
We first establish whether a retail spot route is available to a resident, then calculate its indicative total cost in a fixed scenario. Exchange entities, registration status, funding routes, published fees and verification dates are tied to sources that readers can inspect.
We do not custody assets, connect wallets, execute trades, predict prices or provide personal financial advice. VIBCG is not a licensed financial adviser.
How we make money
Some buttons leading to an exchange are affiliate links. If a reader registers or trades after following one, VIBCG may receive a commission. This does not increase the reader's fee.
Editorial independence
- Ranking uses cost only. Commission is not an input to the comparison function and is not stored in the comparison database.
- Uncalculable routes are not given invented numbers. Account-level or dynamic quotes are labelled and excluded from numeric cost ranking.
- Negative records remain visible. Regulatory and security records are disclosed regardless of ranking or commercial relationship.
- There is no paid placement. Providers cannot pay to enter the dataset, change their position or edit an evidence record.
- Affiliate availability does not determine coverage. A provider can remain in the dataset without a commercial link.
How verification works
The workflow starts with regulator records for the legal entity and registration status, then uses provider help centres and fee schedules for funding and cost inputs. Each material field carries a source, publisher, evidence type and verification date. Anything that cannot be confirmed from suitable evidence is marked as unconfirmed rather than estimated.
The dataset, JSON API and public change log make those inputs independently checkable.
Known limitations
- Spread is estimated, not measured. It is a conservative comparison input, not a promise of execution price.
- There is no real-account testing. The evidence tier is first-party source verification, not a deposit or trade made by the publisher.
- Published rates may differ by account tier. Volume, token holdings and promotions can change the rate shown to an individual account.
- Coverage is deliberately narrow. The English dataset currently focuses on Australian retail spot eligibility and selected funding routes.
- Data can become stale. Every page shows its verification date, but a provider may change terms between checks.
Corrections
If a fee, source, entity or eligibility finding is wrong, please report it at [email protected]. Verified changes retain the superseded value and reason in the public change log rather than being silently overwritten.
